This is a hardcover colorful storybook with high quality gilded pages. It is the kind of book that grandparents by for their grandchildren with the thought that they are giving a lasting keepsake storybook.
Grandparents, parents open the book and read one of the stories, just one before you buy it.
In this book Disney took some of its best-loved characters and haphazardly created meaningless Christmas stories for them. None of the authors of these stories are acknowledged and if I helped write them I wouldn’t have my name on it either.
In the first story the 101 Dalmatian puppies get an explanation of Christmas “people give gifts to those they love.” When the Dalmatian puppies see gifts Christmas morning they exclaim, “We are loved.” In the Cinderella story she misses the “mess” of “Christmas”. The plot of Oliver and Company is also focused on shopping and gift giving.
These content for all stories feature long sentences and make the mistake of “telling” instead of “showing” throughout the entire book. For example, “Ariel felt her heart glow with hope” and other such nonsense.
I read the entire book looking for something positive to say about at least one of the stories. All I can say is that if a fifth grader wrote the stories I would encourage him/her to keep writing and offer praise and gentle guidance. These stories do not have any values that I would want to share with my children and I won’t be reading this book to them.
If you want to read to your child about “giving and receiving” I suggest “Apple cake” or the “little house Christmas” which is a collection of true Christmas stories from the Little House series.

I saw this book in Beijing and I bought it because it’s Disney’s.But when I went back to the hotel and read it, I felt that it is not very good, especislly the story “Oliver&Company”.
The pictures are not very good, but the stories are acceptable.

The only thing that sells this book is the fact that it’s based on Disney charachters we know and love. The stories in the book are so shallow! My four year old likes the pictures, my ten year old wants to know why the only “christmas” thing mentiond in the book is presents! Not worth the money!

I bought this book during 2005’s Spring Festival as a reward for my good performance in the arts examination.
I have cost about only 2 days to finish reading this book. I found that it was very easy to understand, so I admitted that it was fit for kids, and also fit for us English learners. Every story in this book was wonderful and fully filled with Christmas atmosphere! The Christmas stories of “Bambi” “Dumbo” “Beauty and the Beast” and “The Little Mermaid” were which I loved best, they were really filled with warmth and love!
I loved these lovely stories, but I couldn’t use the word “perfect” to describe this book. Because the pictures in this book were not delicate as my anticipation, I can even say that they were terrible! Especially the pictures of “Oliver&Company” and “The Little Mermaid”, Oliver and Ariel’s faces were very malformed, they looked so ugly in the pictures! How cute they used to be in the movies! Only the pictures of “Bambi” were good, at least they were better than other stories’ in this book. The pictures of “Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas” were the most beautiful. SURE THEY SHOULD BE! This story was a movie of Disney! I don’t want to say too much about the pictures of the Christmas story of “Tarzan”, they were horrible!
Generally speaking, I can only describe this book with the word “good”. However, maybe it’s not good enough, it’s still collectable to TRUE Disney fans. I bought it all because of it’s Disney’s, loving Christmas very much is another reason.

If Disney is your thing this is a wonderful book for you. It takes Disney characters and puts them into their own little Christmas stories. The stories iclude 101 Dalmations, The Little Mermaid, The Aristocats, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Winnie the Pooh, Bambi, Pinocchio, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, Oliver and Company, Dumbo, A Bug’s Life, Lady and the Tramp, Mickey Mouse, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Tarzan, Robin Hood, and Toy Story.
Each story is enchanting in it’s own way, and the illustrations are incredibly beautiful. Bring this book into your home this holiday season. You won’t be disappointed.

I`ve been looking for this book for two years, I wanted a new, unused one, and finally about a month ago I found it here on amazon, through a seller called Partners In Time Books.
And I`m definitely not disappointed! The book contains prints of old christmascards, christmasstories, christmascartoons, well after all it is a CHRISTMAS Treasury. I found some stuff here that I`ve never seen in print anywhere else, and I`m so happy that I finally am the owner of this beautiful book.

If you are over 50, you’ll remember the Christmas Parade comic books that Walt Disney produced for Dell. This nice book offers a reproduction of some of the stories originally published in comic book format, as well as other Christmas-themed Disney material, including some of the puzzles and games from the Christmas Parade comics. I really enjoyed this book and the fond memories it brought back.
